Door hardware at the egress doors, entrance doors, and the office use doors should be <br /> shown to be accessible on the door schedule, for both new and existing doors, per IEBC <br /> section 410.6. <br /> 5. The pull-side dimension of the new east door from the break room should be shown to <br /> be 18 inches, per ICC-A117.1-2009 Figure 404.2.3.2(a). <br /> 6. Please reference dimensioning details of sheet A6.02 on sheet A6.01 for the interior <br /> toilet room elevations. <br /> Energy <br /> 1. Alterations which replace more than 50% of the luminaires have to comply with lighting <br /> controls, per WSEC C503.6. <br /> a. Please include both the interior and the exterior lighting in the lighting summary <br /> and analysis using the LIGHT-SUM form, per WSEC table C405.5.2 (1). This <br /> WSEC form should be submitted as part of the tenant improvement.\ <br /> b. A change to the space conditioning of the warehouse to semi-heated or to non- <br /> conditioned will require replacement and modification of existing structure and <br /> fenestration of the office and mezzanine structure, per IEBC C503.2. <br /> a. For the change of warehouse occupancy to S-2 vehicular use, please indicate the <br /> prescriptive method of building envelope compliance for the offices first floor and <br /> mezzanine, the existing building within the building, to include detailed R-Values <br /> of existing or modified interior and exterior walls, roof-ceiling cavities, man- <br /> doors and garage doors, per WSEC section C402.1. <br /> b. The U-value requirements for the interior windows and doors on the <br /> office/mezzanine should also be shown to be in compliance with a non- <br /> conditioned space on the exterior. Please indicate the U values of all fenestration <br /> to meet energy code requirements, to include man and rolling doors, per WSEC <br /> C402.1.4 and C402.4. <br /> 4. Where a change in space conditioning is triggering new work, compliance with the <br /> building thermal envelope requirements should be shown in section and summarized on <br /> the drawings, per WSEC section C503.1. Please indicate the method of building envelope <br /> compliance by completing a total UA alternative worksheet, or provide a completed <br /> prescriptive worksheet to include detailed R-Values of new exterior walls, roof-ceiling <br /> details, slab on grade and foundation details, per WSEC section C402.1. <br /> 5.
