Door used for egress should be readily openable from the egress side without <br /> the use of a key or special knowledge, per IBC 1008.1.9. <br /> i. Door B1 may be a door entry for the basement, but it is also an exit for <br /> levels where the building is occupied 24 hours. <br /> ii. Doors B8 and B9 are not main entries, and should also be readily <br /> openable from the egress side. <br /> b. Door B2 was added to the door schedule but is not shown on the plans. <br /> c. The exit lobby for the basement is accessed by tenants from the basement and <br /> first floors. <br /> d. Door M3 should not be locked from the egress side. <br /> e. The main exterior door M1 is not allowed to be locked from the egress side for a <br /> residential (R-2) occupancy. IBC 1008.1.9.3 (2) <br /> f. Since the basement is one tenant, doors should not be locked from the egress <br /> side, since they are in the path of egress. Locksets should be shown as latchsets <br /> on the door schedule, or the panic hardware should be shown per the previous <br /> submittal to add locking feature on exit side of door. <br /> g. Door B5b should have hardware, type, and size indicated. <br /> h. Door B7 was reversed on a previous permit. Please remove "reverse door". <br /> i. Please remove the words ��reverse gate" on the door B8 on door schedule. Does <br /> not relate to drawings on this permit. <br /> j. Personnel gate B10 to be relocated or removed from the adjacent required <br /> parking spaces. <br /> k. Please identify the closer type for all rated doors shown on schedule. <br /> I.
