January 3, 2018 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., January 3, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Superior Court Judge Joseph P. Wilson administered the oath of office to <br /> newly elected Mayor Cassie Franklin and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Moore, and Murphy. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the December 20, 2017, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin thanked those in attendance and expressed that it is an <br /> honor and privilege to serve. She thanked Mayor Stephanson for his years <br /> of service to the city and the region and for the strong foundation he has <br /> established. She thanked her transition advisory team and stated she <br /> looks forward to sharing the team's report when she delivers her first State <br /> of the City address on January 24, 2018. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore congratulated Mayor Franklin and thanked <br /> President Tuohy for her service on the Council. <br /> Council Member Bader congratulated Mayor Franklin and Council <br /> Members Roberts, Moore, and Murphy. He also thanked President Tuohy <br /> for her service this past year. <br /> 2 <br />
