This project will be subject to Transportation Mitigation in accordance with Ordinance 3387-14 (codified <br /> as EMC 18.40) and subsequent revision. The applicant is encouraged to obtain a copy of the Ordinance <br /> and determine applicable mitigation fees andlor other requirements prior to building permit application. <br /> The actual charges and requirements shall be as per the information on the approved plans at the time of <br /> building permit issuance and the ordinance in effect at that time. <br /> 27. Access -The International Fire Code requires that all new structures shall provide Firc Department <br /> access roads to within 150 feet exterior walking distance of all portions of the ground floor. Fire <br /> I�epartment �ccess 1•oads (F'ire T,anes) shall pmvide a minimlim of 20 feet in w�idth of nnobstrt�cted, <br /> paved driving suriace, exclusive of shoulders, with a miiumum clear height of 13'6". Inside turn radii <br /> must be 35 feet. Outside turn radii must be 55 feet. Slope approach and departure angles must <br /> not exceed 8 degrees. Fire lane grade must not exceed 10 percent. Fire lane construction must <br /> comply with AASHTO H30 load capacity (74,0�00 GVW). Fire Lanes will be posted anci maintained <br /> as required by the Fire Department. Unorthodox access which meets code requirements but is too <br /> unusual for crews will not be allowed. <br /> 2. Buildings greater than 30 feet high require ladder appaxatus access in accordance with the 2012 <br /> International Fire Code, Appendix D, D 1 O5. The unobstructed width of the access in the immediate <br /> vicinity of the building shall be 26 feet. At least one of the required access routes shall be located within <br /> a ininimum of 15 feet and a maximum of 30 feet from the building and shall be positioned parallel to one <br /> entire side of the building. <br /> 3. Per field review from the Fire Marshal's Office - Fire lanes shall be provided as required in Everett <br /> Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes shall be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO <br /> PARKING- FIRE LANE" and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING—FIRE LANE—TOW AWAY <br /> TONE—�MC 46.28.130". Location shall be approved by the F'ire Code Official. <br /> 7. Premise Identification- Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address at the street entry. <br /> Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the access road.
