1 F. Section 901 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br /> 2 Buildings, 1985 Edition, is hereby amended by deleting: <br /> 3 <br /> Sec. 901. The Director of Public Works shall keep an itemized account <br /> 4 of the expense incurred by the City in the repair or demolition of any <br /> building done pursuant to the provisions of Section 701(c) 3 of this Code. <br /> 5 Upon completion of the work of repair or demolition, said Director shall <br /> prepare and file with City Clerk a report specifying the work done, the <br /> 6 itemized and total cost of the work, a description of the real property <br /> upon which the building or structure is or was located, and the names and <br /> 7 addresses of the persons entitled to notice pursuant to subsection (c) of <br /> Section 401. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 and inserting in its place: <br /> 10 <br /> Sec. 901. The Building Official shall keep an itemized account of the <br /> 11 expense incured by this jurisdiction in the repair or demolition of any <br /> building done pursuant to the provisions of Section 701(c) 3 of this Code. <br /> 12 Upon the completion of the work of repair or demolition, said Building <br /> Official shall prepare and file with the Clerk of this jurisdiction a report <br /> 13 specifying the work done, the itemized and total cost of the work, a <br /> description of the real property upon which the building or structure is or <br /> 14 was located, and the names and addresses of the persons entitled to notice <br /> pursuant to subsection (c) of Section 401. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 G. Section 909 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br /> 17 Buildings, 1985 Edition, is hereby amended by deleting: <br /> 18 <br /> After confirmation of the report, certified copies of the assessment shall <br /> 19 be given to the Assessor and the Tax Collector for this jurisdiction, who <br /> shall add the amount of the assessment to the next regular tax bill levied <br /> 20 against the parcel for municipal purposes. <br /> 21 <br /> and inserting in its place: <br /> 22 <br /> 23 909. After confirmation of the report, certified copies of the assess- <br /> ment shall be given to the County and the City Tax Collector, who shall <br /> 24 include the amount of the assessment in the general taxes. <br /> 25 <br /> H. The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1985 <br /> 26 <br /> Edition, is hereby amended by the following addition: <br /> 27 <br /> 28 CHAPTER TEN: EMERGENCY PROCEDURE <br /> 29 City Council Action. In cases where it reasonably appears that there is <br /> immediate danger to the life or safety of any person unless a dangerous <br /> 30 building is immediately repaired, secured, vacated or demolished, the <br /> Building Official shall report the facts to the City Council of the City of <br /> 31 Everett and the City Council may cause a resolution to be passed <br /> 32 <br /> 4 <br />
