<br /> Measurement and Payment: Linear Foot
<br /> The unit price bid per linear foot shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor and equipment,
<br /> complete and in place and at grades specified in the plans,for all work to furnish and install 36-inch sanitary
<br /> sewer main. Measurement and Payment for sewer main laid and tested per COE 6-7.13 shall be made along
<br /> the pipe,through fittings and structures. Included in,but not limited to,the unit price for this item are all
<br /> costs for:
<br /> • trench excavation,
<br /> • stockpiling excavated material,
<br /> • protecting and/or maintaining existing utilities,
<br /> • removing and disposing of existing piping and fittings,
<br /> • furnishing,placing and compacting pipe bedding and pipe zone material,
<br /> • furnishing and installing pipe,bends and fittings,
<br /> • furnishing,placing and compacting suitable native backfill material,
<br /> • cleaning, flushing, inspecting, and testing,
<br /> • furnishing and installing all necessary fittings, coupling and appurtenances,
<br /> • abandoning existing pipe that is no longer in service.

<br /> for all labor,materials and equipment necessary for its construction. The cost of connection of pipe to the
<br /> manhole shall be included in the unit price bid for each manhole. Included in,but not limited to, the unit
<br /> price for this item are all costs for:
<br /> • excavation,
<br /> • stockpiling excavated material,
<br /> • protecting and/or maintaining existing utilities,
<br /> • removing and disposing of existing piping and materials,
<br /> • furnishing,placing and compacting bedding material,
<br /> • furnishing and installing pipe connections,
<br /> • furnishing and installing flap gate, ductile iron flanged spool, transition coupling, and flap gate
