I • connecting to existing pipe and structures, • furnishing,placing and compacting suitable native backfill material, • cleaning,flushing, inspecting, and testing, • reconnecting existing sewer connections, • adjusting all manhole rings and covers to final grade, • channeling manhole base. 13. Sewage Diversion I Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum The lump sum bid shall constitute full compensation for all labor, materials, excavation, pumping I equipment, temporary piping and fittings, backfilling temporary excavations required to provide for the uninterrupted flow of wastewater in the existing sewer system as defined in Section 01 57 19.11. The lump sum price shall also include all costs associated with furnishing and removal of temporary protective facilities, security or construction fencing and restoring service/diverting flows to the constructed facilities upon completion of the replacement work. The lump sum price shall include submittal and approval of a Temporary Sewage Control and Bypass Pumping Plan for each location addressing flows, pumps and overland piping setups. 14. Abandon Existing Manhole Measurement and Payment: Each The unit price bid per each shall constitute full compensation for all material,labor and equipment,complete and in place, for work necessary to abandon the sewer manholes shown on the plans. Included in, but not limited to,the unit price for this item are all costs for: • excavation, • stockpiling excavated material, • protecting and/or maintaining existing utilities, • Salvage existing manhole frame and cover and deliver to Owner's shop, • removing and disposing of existing manhole to the required elevations, • abandoning existing pipe that is no longer in service, • furnishing,placing and compacting suitable native backfill material. 15. Unsuitable Foundation Excavation and Backfill Measurement and Payment: Cubic Yard The unit price bid per cubic yard shall constitute full compensation for all material, labor and equipment to remove and dispose unsuitable foundation material and replace with suitable backfill material as authorized by the Owner's Representative.
