"All earthwork quantities shown on the plans and identified in the specifications are <br /> estimates, actual quantities may vary." <br /> Part 1.2, Item No. 47, Irrigation, add the following bullet: <br /> removing and delivering to owner existing and working irrigation heads, valving and <br /> appurtenances." <br /> 7. Division 31, Section 31 05 13, Soils for Earthwork <br /> Part 3.2-A, delete Paragraphs "1" and"2" in their entirety. <br /> Part 3.2-E, add the following paragraphs: <br /> "3. Cover stockpiles to control moisture content as necessary to maintain optimum <br /> moisture content for trench backfill and earthwork." <br /> 8. Division 31, Section 31 23 16, Excavation <br /> Part 1.2-A, delete the third sentence in Paragraph "A." and replace with the following: <br /> "All excavation shall be classified as Common Excavation, unless provided as Rock. <br /> Rock and Rock Removal defined below." <br /> VOLUME II — SPECIFICATIONS <br /> 9. Strip (remove), load and haul approximately 7,868 CY of topsoil material to <br /> approved stockpile location. Leave remaining 3,966 CY to be used in shaping the golf <br /> course features. NOTE: it is the Contractor's responsibility to save enough topsoil <br /> material to replace all disturbed areas with 6" of stripped topsoil and/or sand plating." <br /> Page 3 of 14 <br />
