a. The perimeter of all Green surrounds shall be sodded with no less than a three-foot (3') strip of the appropriate sod. Sodding shall be in rows at right angles to the slope and shall be installed prior to seeding the greens. I. After applying lime, fertilizer and amendments at the specified rates, drag to an even grade and roll for firmness. J. After Contractor completes seeding and fertilizing, the seed shall be very lightly raked into the top one-quarter-inch (1/4") of the green surfaces ONLY and then tracked in with a Sand-Pro unit, or equal, having "knobby" tires. K. Immediately after seeding and tracking-in, the area shall be protected against traffic or other use by erecting barricades, as needed, and placing approved warning signs at appropriate intervals." Part 3.11-G, in the first sentence delete "...apply..." and replace with "...seed greens by applying..." Part 3.12, delete Section "3.12" in its entirety. Part 3.13, delete the title and replace with "Maintenance and Establishment" Part 3.13-A, delete Paragraph "A."and replace with the following: "A. Immediately after all areas have been planted, the Contractor shall water the planted areas. After this initial watering, it shall be the City's responsibility to maintain the planted areas, including all grow-in, watering, fertilizing, topdressing, etc. a. The City and Parks and Recreation assume all grow-in responsibilities for the newly planted golf course features." 12.Division 32, Section 32 40 23, Golf Course Feature Construction - Tees Part 2.02-A, in the first sentence, delete "...per the tee's specifications." and replace with "...per the specifications." Part 2.02, add the following paragraph: "G. Approved sand plating material (same material used for fairways)." Part 2.02-D, in the first sentence, delete "...GREENS and..." Part 3.06-A, delete Section "A." in its entirety. Part 3.09-B, delete "...34 xx xx..." and replace with "...32 40 37..."
