"H. After Contractor completes seeding and fertilizing, the seed shall be very lightly <br /> raked into the top one-quarter-inch (1/4") of the tee surfaces ONLY and then <br /> tracked in with a Sand Pro unit, or equal, having "knobby" tires. <br /> Immediately after seeding and tracking-in, the area shall be protected against <br /> traffic or other use by erecting barricades, as needed, and placing approved <br /> warning signs at appropriate intervals." <br /> Part 3.10, add the following sections: <br /> "A. The perimeter of all Tee tops shall be sodded as instructed by ENGINEER per <br /> Section 32 40 37. <br /> a. The perimeter of all Tee tops shall be sodded with no less than a three-foot <br /> (3') strip of the appropriate sod. <br /> b. On cart path side of any given tee, sod shall extend to the cart path edge or <br /> curb edge." <br /> Part 3.11, delete the title and replace with "Maintenance and Establishment". <br /> Part 3.11-A, delete Paragraph "A." and replace with the following: <br /> "A. Immediately after all areas have been planted, the Contractor shall water the <br /> planted areas. After this initial watering, it shall be the City's responsibility to <br /> maintain the planted areas, including all grow-in, watering, fertilizing, <br /> topdressing, etc. <br /> a. The City and Parks and Recreation assume all grow-in responsibilities for <br /> the newly planted golf course features." <br /> 13.Division 32, Section 32 40 25, Golf Course Feature Construction - Bunkers <br /> Part 3.02-D-1, delete reference to "GD 104" and replace with "GD 103". <br /> Part 3.05-8-4, delete "Deliver Sand..." and replace with "Deliver approved, new bunker <br /> Sand..." <br /> Part 3, add the following section: <br /> "3.06 BUNKER SURROUNDS: <br /> A. The perimeter surrounding Greenside Bunkers and Fairway Bunkers, including <br /> slopes, fingers, etc. shall be sodded as instructed by ENGINEER. <br /> a. After edging, sod shall be laid on banks, lapping over the cut edge and <br /> reaching to the bunker floor. <br /> b. The perimeter of all fairway and greenside bunkers shall be sodded with no <br /> less than a three-foot (3') strip of the appropriate sod. The fingers and <br /> slopes shall be completely sodded and stabilized with stakes if necessary. <br /> Sodding shall be in rows at right angles to the slope. The fingers shall be <br /> completely sodded and stabilized with stakes if necessary." <br /> Page 7 of 14 <br />
