<br /> 			1  			(h)      Liquid matter with a hydrogen ion concentration below 4.5
<br />  					or above 9.0.
<br /> 			2 			(i)       Substances having a strong, unpleasant odor.
<br />     						(j)       Substances  which can produce a toxic vapor, including but
<br /> 			3       	not limited to chlorinated hydrocarbons.
<br />     						(k)      Food  waste  which has not been properly shredded  so that
<br /> 			4       	100% will pass a 3/8-inch sieve and 75% pass a 1/4-inch sieve.   Persons
<br />  					engaged in the retail sale of raw produce shall be limited to one grinder
<br /> 			5       	having a prime move not exceeding 5 horsepower  for  the processing of
<br />  					raw produce waste.
<br /> 			6 			(1)       Any  matter  which,  in  the  opinion  of  the  Mayor,  might
<br />  					interfere with the satisfactory operation of any treatment plants or any
<br /> 			7       	portion of the Sewer System.

<br />			10       	Matter excluded from all sewers
<br />			11 			Sewage, waste, or any matter having the following characteristics
<br />  					shall not be discharged into, be placed where they might find their way
<br />			12       	into,  or be allowed  to run,  leak,  or escape into any part of the  sewer
<br />  					system:

<br />    						(a)      Solids  or   viscous  substances  including  but  not  limited
<br />			14       	to:  ashes, cinders, glass, sand, gravel, mud, coal, straw, rubbish, shavings,
<br />  					grass  clippings,  metal,  rags,  feathers,  pin  feathers,  oils,  grease,  tar,
<br />			15       	asphalt, plastics, paraffin, cloth or cloth cutting wastes,  wood, sawdust,
<br />  					brewing or distilling slop,  spent grain or hops, paunch maneur, entrails,
<br />			16       	fleshings,  hide,  hair,  offal  from   livestock,   poultry  killing  and   fish
<br />  					processing   or   waste   containing   pulped  or   macerated  residue   from
<br />			17       	industries which process fruit, vegetables, fish, meat or similar products.
<br />    						(b)      Any matter which is chemically or physically stable for at
<br />			18       	least  five  days  at  twenty  degrees  centigrade,  or  which  would  form  a
<br />  					deposit or obstruction or damage or reduce the capacity of the sewer into
<br />			19      	which it was placed.
<br />    						(c)      Flammable, explosive or poisonous liquids, gases or solids or
<br />			20      	any  matter  which,  after  entrance  into  a  sewer,  might  reasonably  be
<br />  					expected  to  form  in  any  way  such  flammable,  explosive  or  poisonous
<br />			21       	liquids, gases or solids.
<br />    						(d)       Matter of any nature at a temperature above one hundred
<br />			22       	fifty degrees Fahrenheit.
<br />    						(e)      Liquid matter of any nature containing suspended solids in
<br />			23      	excess of two hundred fifty (250) parts per million.
<br />    						(f)       Matter  of  any  nature  containing  a  five  day  biochemical
<br />			24      	oxygen demand (BOD) in excess of two hundred (200) parts per million.
<br />    						(g)      Animal  or  vegetable  greases,  oils  or  matter  containing
<br />			25      	animal or vegetable grease or oil of any nature  in excess of fifty (50)
<br />  					parts per million, or any petroleum products.
<br />			26 			(h)      Liquid matter with a hydrogen ion concentration below 5.0
<br />  					or above 9.0.
<br />			27 			(i)       Substances having a strong, unpleasant odor.
<br />    						(j)       Substances which can produce a toxic vapor, including but
<br />			28      	not limited to chlorinated hydrocarbons.

<br />			29      	one hundred percent will pass a three-eighth inch sieve and seventy-five
<br />  					percent pass a one-fourth inch sieve.   Persons engaged in the retail sale
<br />			30      	of raw produce shall be limited to one grinder having a prime move not
<br />  					exceeding five horsepower for the processing of raw produce waste.
<br />			31 			(1)       Liquid     matter     contaiing     daily     maximum     metal
<br />  					concentrations in excess of 3.0 mg/1 of Copper, 3.0 mg/1 of Lead, 6.0 mg/1
<br />			32      	of  Zinc,  6.0  mg/1 of  Chromium,  6.0  mg/1 of  Cadium  and  6.0  mg/1 of
<br />  					Nickel.
