<br /> Bid Item 25 - Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-inch
<br /> 1 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit contract price for Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-Inch, shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for providing
<br /> assembly in accordance with Parts A, B, C, and L of COE Standard Drawing No. 502
<br /> including yet not limited to, furnishing and installing the service saddle and corporation
<br /> stop; trench excavation and dewatering, pavement removal, backfill and compaction; and
<br /> testing the connection.
<br /> Bid Item 26 - Water Service, 3/4-inch
<br /> Bid Item 27 - Water Service, 1-inch
<br /> Bid Item 28 - Water Service, 2-inch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Lineal Foot (LF).
<br /> The unit contract price for Water Service -inch, shall constitute full compensation for all
<br /> labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for new service lines continuous and
<br /> unspliced from the new main to a new meter setter in accordance with Parts C-G of COE
<br /> Standard Drawing No. 501, or Parts D-G of COE Standard Drawing No. 502 and in
<br /> accordance with 7-15.3 of these Special Provisions, including yet not limited to, connecting
<br /> to service connection saddle; boring under existing concrete street, curb and gutter and
<br /> sidewalks, unless noted on the Plans; furnishing, installing, and testing to corporation stop,
<br /> valves, fittings, and installation of service line, and appurtenances; providing a #10 copper
<br /> tracer wire for polyethylene pipe, compaction, connection to existing or new meter setter
<br /> including fittings; dewatering; testing; removal or abandonment of existing service
<br /> connection.

<br /> Bid Item 30 - Water Fire Service, 6-inch
<br /> Bid Item 31 - Water Fire Service, 8-inch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit contract price for Water Fire Service, =Inch, shall constitute full compensation for
<br /> all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for new -inch ductile iron service lines
<br /> from the tee on the new main to reconnecting with the existing service line, including yet
<br /> not limited to, tee, reducers; pipe installation; =inch heavy duty gate valve and box as the
<br /> case may be; restrained joint fittings; trench excavation, backfill and compaction; street
<br /> pavement, concrete curb, concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway and concrete
<br /> sidewalk removal; clearing and grubbing; testing; lawn restoration including seeding or
<br /> sodding; connection to existing service line including fittings and new pipe matching
<br /> existing diameter and material; dewatering; and removal or abandonment of existing
<br /> ' service connection.
