Also included shall be the costs for removing, <br /> loading, hauling, and disposing of unsuitable or displaced materials. <br /> Include cost of sprinkling during dry periods prior to placement of the topsoil and while <br /> spreading and compacting the material along with turf establishment in the unit price for <br /> this bid item. <br /> Payment for Topsoil, Type A & Seeding will be determined by the square yard as measured <br /> in place. <br /> Bid Item 33 - Monument Cases <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA) I <br /> The unit price per each for monument case shall be full compensation for furnishing and <br /> placing the survey monument and monument case and cover, in accordance with the COE <br /> Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, in conformity <br /> with the lines and locations shown on the Plans. <br /> Bid Item 34 - Crushed Surfacing Top Course <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton (TON) <br /> Measurement for crushed surfacing top course will be by the ton as recorded on certified <br /> weight tickets in accordance with 1-09.2 WEIGHING EQUIPMENT and limited to <br /> dimensions defined in the Work, descriptions for other bid items, shown on the Plans, <br /> details or COE Standard Drawings or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. Crushed <br /> Surfacing Top Course material placed exceeding "neatline" quantities without advance <br /> authorization by the Inspector will not be paid for. <br /> The unit price per ton shall be full compensation for all labor, compaction, material, tools, <br /> and equipment necessary to furnish, haul, stockpile, place, grade, and compact imported <br /> crushed surfacing top course for the Work as required, from a Contractor supplied source in <br /> accordance with the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. <br /> The unit price for crushed surfacing top course also includes all costs for controlling <br /> moisture content. <br /> Also included in this bid item shall be the cost of all equipment required to remove existing <br /> soils to attain proper elevations, compaction of native subgrade soils, as well as to <br /> uniformly spread and compact the crushed surfacing material.
