April 18, 2018 <br /> President Roberts stated he also attended the HopeWorks Station II <br /> groundbreaking and Naval Station Everett's State of the Station. He <br /> provided an update from the Puget Sound Regional Council and the Sound <br /> Transit Board. He stated he will be working with Administration on a climate <br /> action plan. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lyle Ryan, Administration, stated there is a budgeted amount to begin work <br /> on a climate action plan and provided an update on the status. <br /> Mr. Ryan invited Susy Haugen, Finance, to discuss a re-appropriation <br /> request for streets projects that Council Member Stonecipher asked for at <br /> the previous Council meeting. <br /> Ms. Haugen presented the information on the re-appropriation. <br /> Council Members Murphy and Stonecipher asked for clarification regarding <br /> carry forward relating to Agenda Item No. 9 for the 2018 Pavement <br /> Maintenance Overlay. <br /> Mr. Ryan stated that Ryan Sass, City Engineer, would present an overview <br /> on a plan for streets in the next few weeks. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher asked to be provided an annual history of <br /> carry forwards where money is being allocated, but not spent annually and <br /> then re-appropriated for the next year. Ms. Haugen stated they would bring <br /> this information forward. <br /> Mayor Franklin stated some of these topics will come forward in the June <br /> Budget Subcommittee meetings. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session, anticipated to last no <br /> longer than one hour, concerning a labor matter pursuant to RCW <br /> 42.30.140(4)(a) with no announcement to follow. <br /> 124 <br />
