<br /> The unit contract price for Connection to Existing -inch Water Main shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for connection to
<br /> existing system, in accordance with 7-09.3(19)A including, yet not limited to; all costs for
<br /> traffic control, excavation, shoring, dewatering, haul and disposal of excavated materials,
<br /> furnishing, installing and compacting bedding and backfill materials; labor and equipment
<br /> required for the complete installation of the connection as specified.
<br /> Unit contract price shall include all coordination efforts with the City and assistance as City
<br /> forces make the actual connection. Connection of a water service line to the water main
<br /> and connection of new water service line to existing water service line will not be
<br /> considered a connection to the existing system.
<br /> Bid Item 23 - Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, 3/4-inch
<br /> Bid Item 24 - Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, 1-inch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA).
<br /> The unit contract price for Corporation Stop w/ Service Saddle, -Inch shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for installation of a
<br /> new corporation stop and service saddle in accordance with Parts A and B of COE
<br /> Standard Drawing No. 501, including yet not limited to, furnishing and installing the service
<br /> saddle and corporation stop; trench excavation and dewatering, pavement removal, backfill
<br /> and compaction; and testing the connection.
<br /> Bid Item 25 - Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-inch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA)
<br /> The unit contract price for Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-Inch, shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for providing
<br /> assembly in accordance with Parts A, B, C and F as shown on Detail 2, Drawing D1,
<br /> including yet not limited to, furnishing and installing the service saddle and corporation
<br /> stop; trench excavation and dewatering, pavement removal, backfill and compaction; and
<br /> testing the connection.
<br /> Bid Item 26 - Water Service, 3/4-inch
<br /> Bid Item 27 - Water Service, 1-inch
<br /> Bid Item 28 - Water Service, 2-inch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Lineal Foot (LF).
<br /> The unit contract price for Water Service -inch, shall constitute full compensation for all
<br /> labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for new service lines continuous and
<br /> unspliced from the new main to either the meter box or connection to existing service line in
<br /> accordance with Detail 1, 2 or 3 as shown on Drawing D1, including yet not limited to,
<br /> connecting to service connection saddle, street pavement, concrete curb, concrete curb
<br /> and gutter, concrete driveway, and concrete sidewalk removal; furnishing, installing, and
<br /> testing to corporation stop, valves, fittings, and installation of service line, and
<br /> appurtenances; providing a #10 copper tracer wire for polyethylene pipe, compaction,
<br /> connection to existing service line or extending past existing meter box including fittings;
<br /> dewatering; testing; removal or abandonment of existing service connection.
