1 1 <br /> 2 9-01.2(1)A Low Alkali Cement <br /> 3 <br /> 4 9-01.2(4) Blended Hydraulic Cement <br /> 5 This section is renumbered as follows: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 9-01.2(1)B Blended Hydraulic Cement <br /> 8 <br /> 9 In the first paragraph, items number 3 through 5 are revised to read: <br /> 10 <br /> 11 3. Type IT(PX)(LY), where (PX) equals the targeted percentage of pozzolan, and (LY) <br /> 12 equals the targeted percentage of limestone. The pozzolan (PX) shall be Class F <br /> 13 fly ash and shall be a maximum of 35 percent. (LY) shall be a minimum of 5 percent <br /> 14 and a maximum of 15 percent. Separate testing of each source of fly ash at each <br /> 15 proposed replacement level shall be conducted in accordance with ASTM 01012. <br /> 16 Expansion at 180 days shall be 0.10 percent or less. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 4. Type IT(SX)(LY), where (SX) equals the targeted percentage of slag cement, and <br /> 19 (LY) equals the targeted percentage of limestone. (SX) shall be a maximum of 50 <br /> 20 percent. (LY) shall be a minimum of 5 percent and a maximum of 15 percent. <br /> 21 Separate testing of each source of slag at each proposed replacement level shall <br /> 22 be conducted in accordance with ASTM C1012. Expansion at 180 days shall be <br /> 23 0.10 percent or less. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 5. Type IL(X), where (X) equals the targeted percentage of limestone, and shall be a <br /> 26 minimum of 5 percent and a maximum of 15 percent. Testing shall be conducted in <br /> 27 accordance with ASTM C1012. Expansion at 180 days shall be 0.10 percent or <br /> 28 less. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 9-01.3 Tests and Acceptance <br /> 31 The second paragraph is revised to read: <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Cement producers/suppliers that certify portland cement or blended hydraulic cement <br /> 34 shall participate in the Cement Acceptance Program as described in WSDOT Standard <br /> 35 Practice QC 1.
