Q. 8. How many people will be employed by the treatment providers? <br /> A. While the providers haven't been selected at this time, we anticipate 24—34 <br /> to cover that 24/7 operation. <br /> Q. 9. Will staff of treatment providers drive their personal vehicles to their jobs at <br /> Denney site? <br /> A. Staff may drive their personal vehicles, carpool or take public transportation. <br /> Q. 10. Will the treatment facilities be locked? <br /> A. The facilities will be secured so people can't randomly come and go but not <br /> "locked" like a jail or psych hospital. <br /> Q.11 How will the patients' outdoor recreational time be managed? <br /> A. Patients will be restricted to the rec areas and not allowed to walk freely on <br /> the campus. <br /> Q. 12. Will visitors be allowed? <br /> A. Family members may be allowed to visit during designated periods. <br /> Providers may also offer a family education group which would likely be held <br /> on Saturdays. <br /> Q. 13. Will Juvenile offenders still be held at Denney? <br /> A. Yes, the remodel is being proposed to provide separate entrances for <br /> adolescents and their families and adults accessing inpatient treatment. <br /> Also, there will be no interaction between adolescents and adults — no sight <br /> and no sound. <br /> Q. 14. If there are concerns or issues with the treatment providers or patients who <br /> do we call? <br /> A. The phone number of the treatment providers will be made available if <br /> concerns arise. It will be a 24/7 number. Human Services can also be <br /> contacted. <br /> Q. 15. Construction timelines and when would treatment facilities open? <br /> A. State capital funding was received in February 2018 and we anticipate the <br /> architectural design process will be completed by the end of 2018. The <br /> construction phase will occur during 2019 and we hope to open the treatment <br /> programs during the first quarter of 2020. <br />
