The Applicant is in ihe communications industry and provides th� City of Everett <br /> and Snohomish County with voice, vidco, pager, and data Uansfer services. <br /> Accerding to th�Applic,ant, coverage must be improved east of Interstate 5, <br /> extendinc� south lo a residential area west of Silver Lake, and north and east to <br /> the surrounding businesses. This would also provide improved <br /> telecommunication services to the properties north and eaet of Silver Lako, <br /> includinc� the businesses. As a means of increasing the service to the area, the <br /> Applicant proposed the above ground communications faciliry. The proposal <br /> would satisfy a need that has been demonstrated in the City of Fverett. <br /> (exhibit 1) <br /> G. The proposed utility pole would be I�cated wilhin lhe City right-oi-way. The riyht- <br /> uf-way has been im{xoved witti c�utters, curbs, and sidewaiks. While the <br /> proposed facility does not require sanitary sewer, water service, eleclrical and <br /> telephone services are available at the proposed facility. The Public Works <br /> Department has not requested improvements to the City ric�ht-of-way.
