3.8 Markings <br /> Marking and plates to be agreed before production;and in accordance with a customer- <br /> approved marking drawing. <br /> 3.9 Gasket <br /> Wall: Foam EPDM rubber fixed in the aluminum retainer <br /> Door: Nylon brush gasket in the header and both sides track. <br /> Interface of Post: Flat to match shape of post mounting interface. <br /> 4.0 Construction <br /> 4.1 Base Frame <br /> Each base frame shall comprise of four corner fittings,two bottom rails, cross members,one set <br /> forklift pockets,one set of Podzilla lifting apertures and a plywood floor. <br /> 4.1.1 Floor Arrangement <br /> The plywood boards are laid longitudinally on top of the cross members with a pre-blasted and <br /> painted flat bar free floating at the center.Two angle steel supporters tack welded on both side <br /> rails.The plywood boards are tightly secured to each cross member with plated countersunk <br /> self-tapping screws.The heads of the screws are 0-1.5 mm below the floor surface <br /> Screws : M6 x 35 x 012(head) <br /> Quantity : Four(4) Pieces-end rows and floor board joints <br /> Three(3) Pieces per row of each board <br /> Flat bar : 50 x 3.0 mm (zinc primer 35p.and epoxy paint 50µ)quantity of one (1) <br /> "L" angle section : 3.0 mm (Primed and painted) quantity of two (2) <br /> 4.1.2 Bottom Side Rail <br /> The bottom side rail shall be 3mm thickness 80 x 140mm rectangle hollow section tube welded at <br /> both ends to the lower corner fittings. <br /> 4.1.3 Cross Member <br /> Pressed channel section with 35 mm wide top flange and 35 mm wide bottom flange <br /> (including fork pocket assemblies),except at floor(butt)joints where cross members shall have <br /> 75 mm wide top flanges and 35 mm wide bottom flanges. <br /> Assembly: Continuously welded to bottom side rails. <br /> 4.1.4 Forklift Pockets <br /> One set of laden fork lift pockets, constructed from 3.0 mm cross members, a top steel plate, <br /> and fork pocket straps at the end of each pocket. Top plate 3.0 mm,straps-6.0 mm x 200 mm <br /> deep. Pocket openings shall be continuously welded to bottom side rail.Top and bottom plates <br /> shall be welded continuously to fork pocket cross members. <br /> 4.1.5 Podzilla Apertures <br /> One angle piece 8mm thickness with diameter 40mm round hole welded adjacent to the fork lift <br /> pocket opening,total four(4) pieces. <br /> 4.1.6 Floor Center Rail <br /> Flat Bar: Gauge: 3.0 mm minimum <br /> Treatment: Blasted primed and painted in the same manner as the cross members <br /> pods containers seismic and combustibles.docx Page 12 of 19 <br />
