4.4.4 Ventilators <br /> Two (2)ABS plastic ventilations shall be glued on the exterior of the end wall panel adjacent <br /> to the windows.Two (2) plastic mesh plates that shall cover the ventilation holes in the <br /> honeycomb panel from inside. <br /> 4.5 Door and Hardware <br /> One set of roll-up door fix to the end when the container is assembled.The roll-up door <br /> shall have one handle,two (2) padlock-able slide bolts and top gasket for weather proof. <br /> 4.5.1 Roll-up Door <br /> One set of steel roll-up door consist with 0.5mm steel strips.The roll-up spring system shall <br /> allow one man to operate(open and close)the door without any difficulty. <br /> Two guiding tracks at each side with gasket inside the track and fixed to the corner posts with <br /> screws. <br /> One angle piece with brush gasket fixed to the underneath of the header for weather proof. <br /> All steel parts shall be powder coated. <br /> 4.5.2 Door Hardware <br /> Handle: one(1)zinc plated/stainless steel. <br /> Lock: two(2)stainless steel padlock-able slide bolt at both sides of the roll-up <br /> door. <br /> 5.0 Surface Preparation and Coatings <br /> 5.1 General Requirements <br /> Coating dry film thickness (D.F.T shall be specified as minimum dry film thickness (min. DFT)). <br /> The method of surface preparation and the proposed abrasive type and size used shall be <br /> defined in advance and agreed by the buyer. <br /> The manufacturer shall identify the recommended paint supplier(s) and provide data sheets on <br /> the recommended coatings.The buyer reserves the right of acceptance of proposed coatings. <br /> 5.2 Surface Preparation <br /> a. The degree of rust in all pre-blasted steel shall not exceed the maximum allowable under ISO <br /> standard ISO 8501-1 rust grade A. <br /> b. All oil,grease, labels, crayon, or other like contaminants shall be removed prior to grit blasting <br /> of steel surfaces and from painted surfaces prior to overcoating. <br /> c. All steel surfaces shall be grit blasted (using steel grit)to a near white metal.An anchor pattern <br /> of 30 microns minimum and 50 microns maximum (R max. 30-50 microns)shall be maintained. <br /> The pattern shall be uniform with a dense peak concentration with a minimum of 300 peaks per <br /> inch (300/25mm).Surface shall be clean to Swedish standard condition of raw steel A SA 2 1/2. <br /> d. The blasted surface shall not be allowed to initiate re-rusting(flash rusting) prior to coating, i.e. <br /> maximum 30 minutes. <br /> e. After sub-assembly parts of the container, all weld slag,surface contamination,scar, etc.,shall <br /> be removed by manual blast or power wire brush cleaning to restore welds to condition suitable <br /> for application of the required coatings. <br /> pods containers seismic and combustibles.docx Page 15 of 19 <br />
