• , <br /> • <br /> . • • <br /> 1 Section 9: The licensee shall use a hose to discharge materials into the City <br /> 2 of Everett sewage system and discharge shall be in a clean and inoffensive manner <br /> 3 satisfactory to the Sewer Superintendent. Equipment and methods used by the licensee <br /> 4 to discharge such materials shall be subject to inspection by and/or approval by the <br /> 5 Sewer Superintendent except that the Sewer Superintendent may waive such inspection <br /> 6 upon submittal, by the applicant, of a valid registration and inspection certificate <br /> 7 issued by the Snohomish County Health District. Failure to comply with the <br /> 8 requirements of the Sewer Superintendent with regard to equipment and methods of <br /> 9 discharge shall be grounds for revocation of the license. <br /> 10 Section 10: A license may be revoked or suspended by the Sewer Super- <br /> 11 intendent or the City Clerk for failure to discharge at designated points or for any <br /> 12 discharge which is in violation of the provisions of this ordinance or the rules and <br /> 13 regulations as promulgated by the Sewer Superintendent. <br /> 14 Section 11: No person shall discharge, directly or indirectly, into the City of <br /> 15 Everett sewage system any material or substance which is prohibited by any rules, <br /> 16 regulations or ordinances of the City of Everett. <br /> 17 Section 12: Any person who violates any provision of this ordinance shall be <br /> 18 guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punishable by a fine of not more <br /> 19 than $500 or 6 months in jail or both. <br /> 20 Section 13: This ordinance shall go into effect on the 1st day of October, 1981. <br /> 21 Section 14: Implementation. <br /> 22 1. Commencing October 1, 1981, all provisions of this ordinance shall apply <br /> 23 to all applicants for licenses with the exception of the license fee. For those applicants <br /> 24 unlicensed as of October 1, 1981, there shall be a one time quarterly license issued for a <br /> 25 fee of $25 for each vehicle having a capacity of 2,500 gallons or less, and $40 for each <br /> 26 vehicle having a capacity in excess of 2,500 gallons. The quarterly license shall be valid <br /> 27 only for the period of October 1, 1981, to December 31, 1981. The applicant shall be <br /> 28 subject to the volume fee as is set forth in Section 5. <br /> 29 2. For those licensees who have valid licenses as of the 1st day of October, <br /> 30 1981, they shall be required to pay the volume fee described in Section 5 of this <br /> 31 ordinance and be in full compliance with the license fee provisions, insurance provisions <br /> 32 <br /> -5- <br />
