ro
t
• Image viewing of deposit tickets
• Image viewing of canceled checks
• Image viewing of Positive Pay exception items
Image Access
SinglePoint online service includes image search and retrieval. The City can view,
save and print paid check images, deposit tickets, deposited checks, paper debit and
credit memos, returned deposited items, returned re-deposited items and advices.
Images are accessible from a number of different services within SinglePoint and are
available for seven years from process date.
SinglePoint Positive Pay has images available to review for the exceptions.
• Stop payments
The City can place stop payments (called "stops") in SinglePoint or by calling
Commercial Customer Service.
Stop payment orders may be requested at any time during the day. U.S. Bank
cannot guarantee a stop payment order will be enforced during the first 24 hours
because the check may have already been cashed by a teller.
SinglePoint provides a check paid inquiry function to verify that the check has not
cleared before placing the stop. SinglePoint checks the last 90 days of posted check
transactions to verify non-payment. If the check has been paid in the last 90 days, a
message will display that the check has been paid.
The City cannot extend the period of an existing stop, but can place a new stop
payment after the original stop has expired, effectively extending the stop payment
period for the check. The City will receive a weekly report that displays stops that are
set to expire that week.
Stops can be requested for ranges of checks. SinglePoint's Stops service supports a
range batch up to 50 items.
• Funds transfers between accounts
SinglePoint Book Transfers will enable the City to complete transfers between all
accounts. SinglePoint Book Transfers are real time transfers. Real time transfers are
immediate and therefore require available funds in the accounts.
• The City shall not be charged or penalized for an overdraft if it is the result of the
account balance information not being available at the specified time.
U.S. Bank will not charge or penalize the City for an overdraft if it is the result of the
account balance information not being available at the specified time.
City of Everett Banking Service Requirements 125
Banking Services Proposal
