Unlike <br /> most organizations, both our front end and back end processing systems are managed <br /> from within. For you this means that U.S. Bank / Elavon has direct influence over all <br /> aspects of electronic payment processing including electronic authorizations, <br /> settlements and clearing, reporting, and customer service. <br /> And review transaction detail by location via the internet. <br /> Through Elavon's online reporting tool MerchantConnect Premium, the City will have the <br /> ability to review transaction detail by location. Costs for this level of service are detailed <br /> in the pricing spreadsheet provided in this proposal. Sample MerchantConnect reports <br /> are provided in the Exhibits section of this proposal for your reference. <br /> The City currently accepts MasterCard and Visa cards at 26 of its locations, but may <br /> expand this service. <br /> We are prepared and can handle the City's current card payment environment. We have <br /> substantial experience with multiple location implementations, and have dedicated <br /> resources to provide assistance that may be required by the City, now or in the future. <br /> In addition, Elavon has the ability to process Visa and MasterCard, as well as AmEx, <br /> Discover, China Union Pay, and JCB payment types. <br /> The City will be credited daily for the gross amount of the bank card transactions. <br /> U.S. Bank Payment Solutions will credit the City daily for the gross amount of the bank <br /> card transactions, as requested. We offer 7 day a week funding. Through our Payment <br /> provider (Elavon) deposits of credit card (Discover, MasterCard and Visa), debit card <br /> (MasterCard, Visa), gift card and electronic checks transmitted prior to 7:00 PM PST to <br /> your U.S. Bank DDA account via ACH the morning of the first business day following the <br /> transmission, even on Weekend Days and Holidays. Funds directed and deposited into <br /> another financial institution will be delayed one additional business day. American <br /> Express is typically within 2 business days following transmission. Keep in mind, most <br /> financial institutions do not post debits and deposits Saturday, Sunday and <br /> Holidays. This means any previous deposits will be posted the next business day. <br /> What does this mean? Our merchants will start seeing a deposit for Friday, Saturday <br /> and Sunday separately on the next business day (Monday).
