CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> Installation of field-formed concrete channels and benches inside all manhole bases shall be <br /> included in this bid item. Pre-cast or pre-formed channel bases are not acceptable. <br /> The cost of connection of pipes to the manhole is incidental and shall be included in the unit <br /> price for this bide item. <br /> Measurement shall be per each manhole installed as measured upon completion. <br /> Bid Item C-13: Combined Sewer Manhole Additional Height, Type 1, 48-inch DIA. <br /> Bid Item A-15: Combined Sewer Manhole Additional Height, Type 1, 48-inch DIA. <br /> Bid Item A-16: Combined Sewer Manhole Additional Height, Type 3, 60-inch DIA. <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot <br /> In addition to the measurement per each, manholes in excess of 10 feet in height as <br /> measured from the flow line to the surface of the Work will be measured per linear foot for <br /> each additional foot of height over 10 feet. <br /> The unit price per linear foot shall be full compensation for all labor, material, tools and <br /> equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as defined in these Contract <br /> Documents. <br /> Measurement of manhole height for payment purposes shall be the distance from the flowline <br /> of the outlet pipe to the surface of the Work measured to the nearest foot. <br /> Bid Item C-14: Side Sewer Connection <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each <br /> The unit price per each side sewer connection shall be full compensation for all labor, <br /> material, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the work as defined in <br /> Section 7-18 of these Special Provisions and as shown on the Plans. <br /> Included in this bid item is location the existing side sewer, connection to the main pipe and <br /> existing side sewer, fittings per COE Standard Drawings. <br /> Included in this bid item are all costs for trench excavation, removing and disposing of <br /> pavement sidewalk, curb, miscellaneous surfacing, landscape materials or sod, removing <br /> and disposing of existing side sewer pipe; hauling and disposing of surplus or unsuitable <br /> materials; excavation; backfill; dewatering; sewage bypassing; stockpiling, hauling, cleaning <br /> and flushing pipes; testing and inspecting and replacing; protecting and maintaining adjacent <br /> utilities. <br /> Included in this bid item is installation of backwater valves where shown on the plans. <br /> Backwater valves will be furnished by the City for installation by the contractor. <br /> All costs in jointing dissimilar side sewer pipe with a coupling shall be included in the unit <br /> price for this bid item. <br /> Restoration of private improvements in streets and private property affected by side sewer <br /> construction and not otherwise included in other bid items, shall be considered incidental to <br /> this bid item. <br /> Bid Item C-15: Storm Drain Pipe, 6-Inch DIA. <br /> Bid Item A-17:Storm Drain Pipe, 8-Inch DIA. <br /> Bid Item A-18 & B-11: Storm Drain Pipe, 12-Inch DIA. <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot <br /> Wetmore Ave Stormwater Division B—BID ITEM DESCRIPTIONS July, 2018 <br /> Bypass Project SP-B-6 Addendum 1 <br />
