CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS Measurement and payment shall be per each catch basin inlet installed as measured upon completion. Bid Item A-23 & B13 & C16: HMA, CL 1/2" PG 64-22 for Permanent Trench Patch Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton Measurement for HMA, CL 1/2" PG 64-22 shall be by the ton, recorded on certified weight tickets in accordance with 1-09.2 WEIGHING EQUIPMENT for HMA placed within the limits of dimensions defined in the Work or shown on the Plans, Standard Specifications, Standard Drawings, or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. No deduction will be made for the weight of asphalt binder, blending sand, mineral filler, or other component of the mixture. The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work necessary to furnish, machine-place, compact, and perform density tests on multiple lifts of HMA— CL 1/2" PG 64-22 pavement in trench patches Crushed surfacing will be measured and paid separately. Furnishing and applying tack coat, prime coat, joint seal and crack sealing asphalt is to be included in this bid item with no direct compensation made. All costs for "Anti Stripping Additive" and "Compaction Adjustment" shall be included in the unit contract price per ton of the HMA with no direct compensation made. Bid Item A-24: Temporary Asphalt Sidewalk and Curb Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard Measurement for Temporary Asphalt Sidewalk and Curb shall be by the square yard, as delineated by the contractor and approved by the Inspector. Measurement shall be as directed by the Inspector, in accordance with the Standard Specifications and Section 5-04 of these Special Provisions. A typical detail for temporary Asphalt Sidewalk and Curb is attached to this spec package. The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work necessary to furnish, machine-place, compact, roll and perform any hand work necessary to meet contract requirements. All costs for"Anti Stripping Additive" and "Compaction Adjustment" shall be included in the unit contract price per ton of the HMA with no direct compensation made. Bid Item A-25 & B-14: Concrete Sidewalk Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard. Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to removal of existing sidewalk. The unit price per square yard for concrete sidewalks shall be full compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. Raising the sidewalk as indicated on the plans is incidental to the concrete sidewalk item. Removal of existing sidewalk and crushed surfacing top course placed under sidewalk is incidental to the concrete sidewalk item.
