We believe it would be a huge disservice to the neighborhoods near downtown if a
drug treatment center were to be opened at 2808 Hoyt, or anywhere near downtown. Being in the Rucker Hill
neighborhood,we enjoy walking our grandchildren to the library, the Children's Museum,Village Theatre, music at the
courthouse, and other venues downtown. We also are fortunate to be able to walk to our family business, Martin
Lumber and Hardware. Both of our children have chosen to begin raising their families in Everett. We hope they will see
that there is hope for Everett to be a safe place for families, with a great downtown area for families and children. We
do not want to have to maneuver through a lineup of people waiting to be seen at a treatment center to get to all that
Everett has to offer. Please maintain the restrictions on new clinics in the Metro Plan's Urban Mixed zone.
Thank you,
Dan and Jeanie Coleman
Sent from my iPad
1
