enter the vault and gather as-built field information through the use of photos and measurements,and relay it to CG <br /> Engineering staff on site. <br /> • Destructive investigation and materials testing are excluded. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Photos and field notes will be provided to City staff if requested. <br /> Task 3—Schematic Design Development <br /> CG Engineering will evaluate data collected in the above task,engage City staff,and develop a design concept for <br /> the replacement platform. <br /> 3.1 Develop a preliminary platform replacement design concept. <br /> 3.2 Attend one review meeting with City staff to discuss the schematic design. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • The existing landing platform will be replaced in its entirety. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Schematic Design Documents to include preliminary plans for the replacement landing in PDF format. <br /> Task 4—Final Design Development <br /> CG Engineering will prepare final construction documents for the replacement landing platform and ladder. <br /> 4.1 Develop structural calculations and structural drawings sufficient for permit submittal and construction. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • The City will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits. <br /> • The City will prepare a site plan and vicinity map if necessary to obtain permits. <br /> • Specifications for the project will be provided in the form of structural notes in the structural construction <br /> drawings. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Construction Documents including: <br /> o Structural Notes <br /> o Platform Framing Plans,Platform Connection Details,and Ladder Connection Details <br /> Task 5—Construction Support <br /> This task represents consultation by CG Engineering during construction. Support will be limited to incidental <br /> support and periodic collaboration with the City,the construction contractor,permitting agencies and others,all at <br /> the direction of the City. <br /> 5.1 Meetings-Attend one pre-construction conference between City and construction contractor and invited <br /> agencies and utilities. CG Engineering will be available to answer questions. <br /> 5.2 Submittals-Review construction submittals,as directed by the City,for conformance with project <br /> documents. <br /> 5.3 Clarifications and Changes-Assist with issuing clarifications to the construction contractor and producing <br /> design changes if necessary. Response to requests for information from the contractor will be provided. <br /> 5.4 Site Visits—CG Engineering will conduct one site visit if requested by the City or as warranted by the <br /> progression of work.
