July 16, 2018 <br /> Task 2 — Topographic Survey & Basemappirtg <br /> A limited site specific topographic field survey will be performed on Rucker Avenue <br /> north of Pacific Avenue. The survey will include the reconstructed sidewalk area that has <br /> occurred with the development of the building on the west side of Rucker, as well as <br /> additional curb return information in areas where curb ramps have been upgraded since <br /> the original basemapping was prepared. Services to be provided include horizontal and <br /> vertical control surveys and ground based topographic mapping surveys necessary to <br /> complete the final design, as described below. <br /> This work element shall include the following tasks: <br /> 2.1 Topographical Survey: <br /> A topographic field survey identifying existing building outlines, utility surface <br /> features, and sub-surface utilities as delineated by a professional utility locating <br /> service will be performed. The field survey shall pick up curbs, edges of gutter <br /> pan, doorway thresholds, drainage structures within the flow line or behind the <br /> existing curbs, retaining structures, traffic and business signs, striping, and trees <br /> (including type and size for trees over 4 inches in diameter at 4.5 feet above <br /> grade). <br /> Locations to be surveyed include: <br /> s The west side of Rucker Avenue from Pacific Avenue to approximately 200- <br /> feet north. <br /> The northeast corner of Rucker Avenue and Pacific Avenue. <br /> The City will provide advance notification of survey work on private property (if <br /> necessary). The City will obtain Right of Entry for survey on private property (if <br /> necessary).
