July 16, 2018 <br /> This task shall include the following work elements: <br /> 4.1 Utility Coordination and Contacts: <br /> • Review utility coordination and conflict information from Phase 1 work and <br /> update the utility contacts list. <br /> • Prepare and provide franchise utilities with an introductory letter to the <br /> project, preliminary plan set which includes the existing utilities as shown in <br /> the existing topographic base map and the proposed roadway footprint for <br /> franchise utility review. It is expected that the franchise utilities will review <br /> and confirm the location of existing utilities and provide additional utility <br /> location information if necessary. <br /> • Provide franchise utilities with a copy of the 90%, 100%, and final plan sets for <br /> informational purposes. <br /> 4.2 Conflict Resolution: <br /> Identify potential utility conflicts and coordinate with franchise utilities as <br /> necessary to resolve conflicts. <br /> 4.3 Meetings: <br /> Coordinate and attend up to two (2) meetings with franchise utilities as necessary <br /> and prepare meeting notes. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • Franchise utilities will not need to be relocated as a result of this project. If it <br /> is determined that franchise utilities will need to be relocated as a result of <br /> the project improvements, or if the franchise utilities will do work (i.e. <br /> upgrades or modifications), coordination by the Consultant may be provided <br /> as an optional service. <br /> • This assumes potholing will not be required.
