1 D. The Director of Animal Control, together with the Animal <br /> Control Advisory Board, shall promulgate regulations for the <br /> 2 issuance of Facility Licenses and shall include requirements <br /> for humane care of all animals and for compliance with the <br /> 3 provisions of this ordinance and other applicable laws. A copy <br /> of these regulations will be on file at the Animal Control <br /> 4 Shelter and the City Clerk's Office. The Director of Animal <br /> Control may amend such regulations fromtime to time as <br /> 5 deemed desirable for public health and welfare and for the <br /> protection of the animals. <br /> 6 <br /> E. The Director shall inspect any facility for which licensing is <br /> 7 sought and, upon determination that the facility and its <br /> operation complies with all regulations, applicable provisions <br /> 8 of this ordinance and other applicable state and federal laws, <br /> the Director shall issue final approval. <br /> 9 <br /> F. If the Director fails to approve or deny the application within <br /> 10 sixty (60) days of its receipt and payment of fees, the <br /> application shall be deemed approved for the current year and <br /> 11 shall thereafter be subject only to revocation as provided <br /> hereinafter. <br /> 12 <br /> 1. A license shall be conspicuously displayed on the <br /> 13 facility premises, and a holder of a license shall keep <br /> available for inspection by the Director a record of the <br /> 14 name, address and telephone number of the owner of <br /> each animal kept at the facility, the date each animal <br /> 15 was received, the purpose therefore, the name and <br /> address of the person from whom the animal was <br /> 16 purchased or received, a description of each animal <br /> including age, breed, sex, color, and the animal's <br /> 17 veterinarian, if known. <br /> 18 2. Holders of livestock facility permits shall display such <br /> sign as may be required by the Director at a location <br /> 19 near the entry to such facility describing the number <br /> and species of livestock on the premises and the <br /> 20 identity of and contact information for any person <br /> responsible for such livestock. <br /> 21 Section 4. Denial and Revocation of Licenses; Appeals <br /> 22 A. A license required by this chapter may be denied or revoked for any <br /> 23 of the following reasons: <br /> 24 1. Conviction for violation of any provision of this ordinance or <br /> other applicable state or federal law, rule, order or regulation <br /> pertaining to any activity for which licensing approval is <br /> 25 sought. <br /> 26 2. Furnishing false information on an application for licensing. <br /> 27 3. Conviction of the applicant (or any person in his employ or any <br /> person to whom the applicant entrusts supervision of the <br /> 28 facility) of any offense involving cruelty to animals, whether <br /> in this or any other state. <br /> 29 <br /> 4. Refusal to allow the Animal Control Agency to inspect all <br /> 30 animals and the premises where animals are kept at any <br /> reasonable time or with just cause. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
