• <br /> 1 3. Medical equipment including but not limited to, an <br /> 2 equipment inventory equal to that published by the Committee on Trauma <br /> 3 of the American College of Surgeons in their most recent bulletin <br /> 4 entitled, Essential Equipment for Ambulances, three copies which shall be <br /> 5 kept on file in the office of the City Clerk and one copy on file with the <br /> 6 License Officer. The list of equipment may be changed and the list shall <br /> 7 be approved by the Medical Director. <br /> 8 C. Each ambulance and/or emergency first aid vehicle and its equipment <br /> 9 shall be maintained in a sanitary manner and in good operating condition. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Section 4: Standards for Ambulance Operator's License - Liability Insurance. <br /> 12 A. The License Director shall not approve any license for ambulance service <br /> 13 nor shall any ambulance be operated in the City of Everett, unless there is at all times <br /> 14 in force an insurance policy, in amounts recommended by the Advisory Committee as <br /> 15 sufficient which insures the owner of such ambulance, and his agents, against all claims <br /> 16 for personal injury, death and property damage arising out of the operation of said <br /> 17 ambulance and the care of patients, and that said insurance policy be issued by an <br /> 18 insurance company licensed to do business in the State of Washington. <br /> 19 13. Every insurance policy required hereunder shall contain a provision for a <br /> 20 continuing liability thereunder to the full amount thereof, notwithstanding any recovery <br /> 21 thereon, that the liability of the insurer shall not be affected by the insolvency or the <br /> 22 bankruptcy of the assured and that until the policy is revoked, the insurance company <br /> 23 will not be relieved from liability on account of non-payment of premium, failure to <br /> 24 renew license at the end of the year, or any act or omission of the named insured. <br /> 25 C. Every insurance policy required hereunder shall extend for the period to <br /> 26 be covered by the license applied for and the insurer shall be obliged to give not less <br /> 27 than 30 days written notice to the License Officer and to the assured before any <br /> 28 cancellation or termination of the policy earlier than its expiration date. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -4- <br />
