• <br /> 1 D. Publicly owned ambulance/emergency first aid service or any <br /> 2 ambulance/emergency first aid service run by a political subdivision of the State of <br /> 3 Washington, or by a municipal corporation, or quasi-municipal corporation, may elect to <br /> 4 be a self-insurer and thereby be relieved of the duty imposed by this section. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Section 5: Duties of License Officer. <br /> 7 A. The License Officer, upon the recommendation of the Emergency Services <br /> 8 Advisory Committee, as set forth in Section 6, may promulgate, revise, or rescind such <br /> 9 reasonable rules and regulations as may be necessary or appropriate to administer the <br /> 10 provisions of this ordinance and to perform the duties assigned to the License Officer, <br /> 11 in conformity with the intent and purpose of this ordinance. <br /> 12 B. An authorized representative of the License Officer shall make such <br /> 13 regular inspections as he deems necessary, and shall make such reports relative to <br /> 14 conditions existing at such times and in such manner as the License Officer may direct. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Section 6: Emergency Services Advisory Committee (ESAC). <br /> 17 A. The Mayor of the City of Everett shall appoint an Advisory Committee <br /> 18 composed of the following: <br /> 19 1. One physician who shall be a member of the Emergency <br /> 20 Medical Care Committee of the Snohomish County Medical Society who <br /> 21 either practices or resides in the City of Everett. This physician shall <br /> 22 serve an initial term of 6 years. Each succeeding term shall be for 6 <br /> 23 years. <br /> 24 2. One physician who shall reside or practice in the City of <br /> 25 Everett and who shall serve an initial term of 4 years. Each succeeding <br /> 26 term shall be for 6 years. <br /> 27 3. Two citizens-at-large, who shall be residents of Everett, one <br /> 28 of whom shall serve an initial term of 2 years and the other an initial term <br /> 29 of 6 years. Each succeeding term shall be for 6 years. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -5- <br />
