1 4. Two citizens-at-large, who shall be residents of Everett, <br /> 2 who shall serve an initial term of 4 years. Each succeeding term shall be <br /> 3 for 6 years. <br /> 4 5. One registered nurse employed in the area of providing <br /> 5 emergency service, who lives or works in the City of Everett, and who <br /> 6 may be a member of District Nine of the Washington State Nurses <br /> 7 Association and/or a member of the Emergency Department Nurses <br /> 8 Association, who shall serve an initial term of 2 years. Each succeeding <br /> 9 term shall be for 6 years. <br /> 10 6. One representative of Everett General Hospital who shall <br /> 11 serve an initial term of 4 years. Each succeeding term shall be for 6 <br /> 12 years. <br /> 13 7. One representative of Providence Hospital who shall serve <br /> 14 an initial term of 6 years. Each succeeding term shall be for 6 years. <br /> 15 8. Ex-officio, non-voting members of the Advisory Committee <br /> 16 shall consist of: <br /> 17 a. One representative of each ambulance service <br /> 18 licensed in the City of Everett. <br /> 19 b. One representative of the Everett Police <br /> 20 Department. <br /> 21 c. One representative of the Everett Fire <br /> 22 Department. <br /> 23 d. The City Emergency Medical Services <br /> 24 Director. <br /> 25 B. The Advisory Committee shall prepare and recommend to the City <br /> 26 Council and whatever other regulatory bodies as necessary, standards, regulations, and <br /> 27 procedures relating to emergency medical service for their adoption. The Advisory <br /> 28 Committee shall also assess the need for any additional ambulance service within the <br /> 29 City. These standards, regulations, procedures, and assessments shall be reviewed at <br /> 30 least annually to keep them up to date and shall be reported to City Council. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -6- <br />
