• <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> 1 Section 7: Standards for Ambulance Operator/Emergency First Aid <br /> Service/Ambulance Attendant/First Aid Vehicle <br /> 2 Operator/Emergency Medical Technician/Physicians Trained Mobile <br /> Intravenous Therapy Technicians/Physicians Trained Mobile Airway <br /> 3 Management Technician License. <br /> 4 A. Ambulance Operator/Emergency First Aid Service. Each ambulance <br /> 5 operator and emergency first aid service shall have, for each vehicle in service, on duty <br /> 6 and available for immediate response, two Ambulance Attendants/Emergency Medical <br /> 7 Technicians who are licensed for emergency medical services as provided in Section 7 <br /> 8 (B) of this ordinance. A certificate of license shall be carried on the person of each <br /> 9 Ambulance Attendant/Emergency Medical Technician while on duty. <br /> 10 B. Ambulance Attendant/Emergency Medical Technician - Certificate of <br /> 11 License. No person shall perform the duties of an Ambulance Attendant/Emergency <br /> 12 Medical Technician without first obtaining the requisite First Aid Certificate or <br /> 13 Emergency Medical Technician Certificate from the Secretary. <br /> 14 C. Physicians Trained Mobile Intravenous Therapy Technician (I.V. <br /> 15 Technician) - Certificate of License. No person shall perform the duties of a <br /> 16 Physicians Trained Mobile Intravenous Therapy Technician without first obtaining the <br /> 17 requisite certificate from the Secretary. <br /> 18 D. Physicians Trained Mobile Airway Management Technician (Advanced <br /> 19 Airway Technician) Certificate of License. No person shall perform the duties of a <br /> 20 Physicians Trained Mobile Airway Management Technician without first obtaining the <br /> 21 requisite certificate from the Secretary. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Section 8: Expiration and Renewal of License. <br /> 24 A. Licenses/Certificates for Ambulance Attendants, Emergency Medical <br /> 25 Technicians, Physicians Trained Mobile Intravenous Therapy Technicians and Physicians <br /> 26 Trained Mobile Airway Management Technicians shall expire as set forth in RCW 18.73. <br /> 27 B. Renewal of any license/certification hereunder, upon expiration for any <br /> 28 reason or after revocation, shall require conformance with all the requirements <br /> 29 pertinent thereto as required by the Secretary. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -7- <br />
