• • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> 1 Section 9: Revocation of License. <br /> 2 A. The Secretary may revoke or terminate an ambulance or first aid vehicle <br /> 3 license if the ambulance is found to be operating in violation of any of the regulations <br /> 4 promulgated by the Department of Social and Health Services or is found to be <br /> 5 operating without required equipment as set forth in Section 3 of this ordinance. <br /> 6 B. The License Officer may recommend to the Secretary that a licensee's <br /> 7 certificate/license be revoked or suspended if any of the following have occurred: <br /> 8 1. If the license holder is convicted of, or forfeits bail for, any <br /> 9 of the following driving violations whether or not in connection with <br /> 10 driving an ambulance: <br /> 11 a. Reckless driving. <br /> 12 b. Driving under the influence of intoxicating <br /> 13 liquor or drugs. <br /> 14 2. If the license holder is convicted of any felony or any <br /> 15 offense involving moral turpitude. <br /> 16 3. If the license was obtained by fraud or if the application <br /> 17 therefor contains any false statements, or if a fact concerning the <br /> 18 applicant was not disclosed at the time of his making application when <br /> 19 such fact would have constituted just cause for refusing to issue such <br /> 20 license. <br /> 21 <br /> C. The initial, semi-annual, or other ambulance and/or emergency first aid <br /> 22 <br /> vehicle, equipment and premise inspection reports of the License Officer herein <br /> 23 <br /> provided for shall be prima facie evidence of compliance or non-compliance with, or <br /> 24 <br /> violation of, the provisions, standards and requirements provided herein, and ambulances <br /> 25 <br /> and/or emergency first aid vehicles. <br /> 26 <br /> D. Upon suspension, revocation or termination of an ambulance and/or <br /> 27 emergency first aid vehicle license hereunder operations as such shall cease with such <br /> 28 vehicle and no person shall permit continued operation with such ambulance and/or <br /> 29 emergency first aid vehicle as such. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 -8- <br />
