• <br /> b. Conditional Use upon compliance with this Chapter <br /> (Section G) shall be issued a Flood Zone Permit. <br /> 3. Additional conditions on subdivisions shall be required as follows: <br /> a. Subdivisions shall be consistent with the need to minimize <br /> flood damage, <br /> b. Public utilities (sewer, water, etc.) shall be located and <br /> constructed to minimize flood damage. <br /> c. Adequate drainage facilities to reduce exposure to flood damage. <br /> d. Base flood elevation shall be provided for at least 50 lots <br /> or five-acre subdivision. <br /> G. CONDITIONAL USES <br /> 1. Applications for a Conditional Use shall be made on forms <br /> provided by the Planning Department. <br /> 2. The decision to issue a Conditional Use Permit shall be based <br /> on the proposed project's effect on life and property due to <br /> increased flood heights or velocities caused by encroachments <br /> and Section 1910.6 of the Federal Regulation (Title 24 CFR) . <br /> 3. Upon consideration of Section G.2 and the purposes of this <br /> Chapter, conditions may be attached to conditional uses which <br /> shall relate to the flood hazard existing at a specific site. <br /> Any measures utilized to flood proof a project shall be <br /> certified by a registered engineer to be consistent with the <br /> flood factors for that project area. <br /> -11- <br />
