F <br /> .. •� <br /> 1 (b) Application. To obtain a permit the applicant shall first file <br /> an application therefore in writing on a form furnished for <br /> 2 that purpose. Every such application shall: <br /> 3 (1) Identify and describe the work to be covered by the <br /> permit for which application is made; <br /> 4 <br /> (2) Describe the land on which the proposed work is to be <br /> 5 done, by house and street address; <br /> 6 (3) Indicate the use or occupancy for which the proposed <br /> work in intended; <br /> 7 <br /> (4) Be accompanied by plans and specifications as <br /> 8 required in Subsection (d) of this Section. <br /> 9 (5) State the valuation of the proposed work; <br /> 10 (6) Be signed by the permittee; <br /> 11 (7) Give such other information as reasonably may be <br /> required by the Building Official. <br /> 12 <br /> (c) To Whom Permits May Be Issued: A permit may be issued to <br /> 13 anyone as permitted by Section 19-28. Revised Code of <br /> Washington Annotated. <br /> 14 <br /> (d) Plans and Specifications: With each application for a <br /> 15 permit, and when required by the Building Official for <br /> enforcement of any provisions of this Code, two sets of <br /> 16 plans, service diagrams, specifications, and other informa- <br /> tion deemed necessary by the Building Official, shall be <br /> 17 submitted. The Building Official may require plans and <br /> specifications to be prepared and designed by an electrical <br /> 18 engineer or electrical contractor licensed by the State to <br /> practice as such. The plans shall be drawn upon substantial <br /> 19 paper or cloth and shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate <br /> the nature and extent of the work proposed and show in <br /> 20 detail that it will conform to the provisions of this <br /> Ordinance and all other relevant laws, ordinances, rules and <br /> 21 regulations. <br /> 22 (e) Plan Checking: The application, plans, and specifications <br /> filed by the applicant for a permit shall be checked by the <br /> 23 Building Official. If the Building Official is satisfied that <br /> the work described in an application for a permit and the <br /> 24 plans filed therewith conform to the requirements of this <br /> Ordinance and other pertinent laws and Ordinances and that <br /> 25 the fee specified in Section 15 has been paid, he may issue a <br /> permit therefore to the applicant. <br /> 26 <br /> (f) Validity: The issuance or granting of a permit or approval of <br /> 27 plans and specifications shall not be construed to be a <br /> permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the <br /> 28 provisions of the Ordinance. No permit presuming to give <br /> authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this <br /> 29 Ordinance shall be valid, except insofar as the work for <br /> which it authorizes is lawful. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> - 39 - <br />
