The Mayor and/or his/her designee together with each Department <br /> Head employing Day Laborers, shall establish the rate of pay, <br /> 2 therefore, within the minimum and maximum rate based on the <br /> qualifications, experience, and background of each Day Laborer <br /> 3 employee. <br /> D. In the case of Library Day Laborer employees, the Library Board <br /> 4 together with the Library Director shall establish the rate of pay, <br /> 5 therefore, within the minimum of $2.30 per hour and maximum rate <br /> of $4.00 per hour based on the qualifications, experience, and <br /> 6 background of each Day Laborer employee. <br /> 7 Section 5: <br /> 8 A. There is hereby adopted as part of this salary ordinance, a longevity <br /> schedule for full-time employees covered by the AFSCME labor <br /> 9 contract under a three-step classification based on years of service as <br /> follows: <br /> 10 After completion of 4 years, $ 25.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month additional. <br /> 11 After completion of 12 years, $ 75.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month additional. <br /> 12 <br /> B. There is hereby adopted as part of this salary ordinance, a longevity <br /> 13 schedule for full-time employees covered by the AFSCME labor <br /> contract under a five-step classification based on years of service as <br /> 14 follows: <br /> 15 After completion of 4 years, $ 25.00 per month additional <br /> After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month additional. <br /> 16 After completion of 12 years, $ 75.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month additional. <br /> 17 <br /> Section 6: <br /> 18 <br /> Longevity pay shall not be paid to part-time employees, Day Laborers, or <br /> 19 employees on the pay range prefaced by "P", "E", or "H" in Section 2 above. <br /> 20 Section 7: <br /> 21 A. There is hereby adopted as part of this salary ordinance, a longevity <br /> schedule for full-time employees covered by the Everett Firefighters, <br /> 22 IAFF, Local 350 labor contract based on years of service as follows: <br /> 23 After completion of 4 years, $ 25.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month additional. <br /> 24 After completion of 12 years, $ 75.00 per month additional. <br /> After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month additional. <br /> 25 After completion of 20 years, $125.00 per month additional. <br /> 26 Section 8: <br /> 27 There is hereby adopted as part of this salary ordinance, longevity and educational <br /> incentive plans for commissioned police officers. Such officers, upon becoming <br /> 28 eligible, may choose to participate in either plan, however, in no case shall any <br /> officer be eligible to participate concurrently in both plans. <br /> 29 <br /> The following shall be the longevity schedule based upon years of service, the <br /> 30 amount of which shall be added to and considered a part of, base pay: <br /> 31 After completion of 4 years, $ 25.00 per month. <br /> After completion of 8 years, $ 50.00 per month. <br /> 32 After completion of 12 years, $75.00 per month. <br /> After completion of 16 years, $100.00 per month. <br />
