24. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor buming. Therefore, outdoor burning for the <br />purpose of disposing of c�nstruction debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br />25. Fire safety practices durin� construction must be in compliance with the Uniform <br />Fire Code, 1985 Edition, Art�cle 87, "Fire Safety During Consuuction." <br />26. Any security fence e�ected around the construction site must be located so as to <br />not obswct any existing hydrant, fire protection equipment, or Fire Department <br />access. If Pire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings must be <br />provided for access. <br />27. Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity must be located a minimum of 5 feet from <br />the building (i1FC 11.302(b), 1991 Edition) <br />28. Premise identification and all required Fire Department access roads and fire <br />hydrants must be in service prior to commencement of construction. <br />29. Demolition of buildings must be in compliance with the provisions of the Uniform <br />Fire Code, Section 87.105 'Fire Safety during Demolihon'. <br />30. Fire lanes must be provided as required in the Everett hfunicipal Code 46.44. Fire <br />lanes must be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARKING <br />- FIRE LANE" and vertical signs stating NO PAItKKING - FIRE LANE - TOW <br />�� <br />AWAY ZONE." Location must be approved by the Fire Marslial. <br />31. The Washington State �lean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br />reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated <br />during construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such <br />as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and <br />installing and maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle <br />track-out is also a major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger <br />violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air <br />Pollution Control Agency. <br />GENERAL INFORMATION <br />I. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to :>erve the <br />proposed development. For further infortnation about the electrical service <br />reqwrements for ttvs project, please call Dan Gadbois of the District's Customer <br />Engiueering Office, Bverett at 258-8560. <br />2. GTE Northwest Incorporated will provide service to the site. However, new <br />telephone cable construction will be required in conjunction with the site <br />development. . GTE's engineering will begm when they are notified of your <br />construction schedules and telepiione requirements.
