8 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> The City of Everett and ICF Jones&Stokes,Inc. (ICF Jones& Stokes,Inc.)agree to amend and modify <br /> their professional services agreement dated May 4,2017(the"Agreement")as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, ICF Jones&Stokes,Inc. and the City entered into an agreement dated May 4,2017 to <br /> provide design and permitting services for the Year 10 Monitoring of the Smith Island/Union Slough <br /> Habitat Restoration Site,with a total amount of compensation of$102,000; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett requires continued assistance with ongoing monitoring services on Smith <br /> Island restoration sites; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and ICF Jones & Stokes, Inc. agree to amend and modify the <br /> Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. Paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended to read as follows: <br /> Time of Beginning and Completion of Performance. This Agreement shall commence <br /> as of the date of execution of this Agreement and shall be completed by June 30,2021. <br /> 2.
