1 Contract work to be performed using contractor-provided stakes shall not begin until the ' <br /> 2 stakes are approved by the Contracting Agency. Such approval shall not relieve the <br /> 3 Contractor of responsibility for the accuracy of the stakes. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Stakes shall be marked in accordance with Standard Plan A10.10. When stakes are <br /> 6 needed that are not described in the Plans, then those stakes shall be marked, at no <br /> 7 additional cost to the Contracting Agency as ordered by the Engineer. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Payment <br /> 10 Payment will be made for the following bid item when included in the proposal: <br /> 11 <br /> 12 "Roadway Surveying", lump sum. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 The lump sum contract price for "Roadway Surveying" shall be full pay for all labor, <br /> 15 equipment, materials, and supervision utilized to perform the Work specified, including <br /> 16 any resurveying, checking, correction of errors, replacement of missing or damaged <br /> 17 stakes, and coordination efforts. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 _-C5.-=&O.P7. oGR <br /> 20 (April 3, 2017) <br /> 21 Contractor Surveying— ADA Features <br /> 22 ADA Feature Staking Requirements <br /> 23 The Contractor shall be responsible for setting, maintaining, and resetting all <br /> 24 alignment stakes, and grades necessary for the construction of the ADA features. <br /> 25 Calculations, surveying, and measuring required for setting and maintaining the <br /> 26 necessary lines and grades shall be the Contractor's responsibility. The Contractor <br /> 27 shall build the ADA features within the specifications in the Standard Plans and <br /> 28 contract documents. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 ADA Feature As-Built Measurements <br /> 31 The Contractor shall be responsible for providing As-Built records of all ADA feature <br /> 32 improvements completed in the Contract. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The survey work shall include but not be limited to completing the measurements, <br /> 35 recording the required measurements and completing other data fill-ins found on the <br /> 36 ADA As-Built Forms, and transmitting the Forms to the Engineer. The ADA As-Built <br /> 37 Forms are found at the following website location: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Design/ADAGuidance.htm <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The transmittal letter shall include a statement signed by the Contractor certifying <br /> 42 the accuracy of the measurements. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 In the instance where an ADA Feature does not meet accessibility requirements, all <br /> 45 work to replace non-conforming work and then to measure, record the as-built <br /> 46 measurements, and transmit the Forms to the Engineer shall be completed at no <br /> 47 additional cost to the Contracting Agency, as ordered by the Engineer. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 Payment <br /> 50 Payment will be made for the following bid item that is included in the Proposal: <br /> N.
