1 <br /> 1 loop detector to be spliced into a single lead-in cable, the loops shall be wired <br /> 2 in series. The loop detector lead-in cable shall be pulled into the controller <br /> 3 cabinet and connected to the detector channel terminals as indicated in the loop <br /> 4 detector schedule in the plans. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Loop Detector Lead-In Cable (2 or 3 pair) <br /> 7 Two or three pair loop detector lead-in cable shall be installed where shown in <br /> 8 the wiring schedule in the plans. Belden 1037A and 1055A cables are a pre- <br /> 9 approved source. Other cables may be submitted for approval consistent with <br /> 10 the following specifications: Multi pair loop detector lead-in cable shall consist <br /> 11 of two or three individually twisted and shielded pairs of #16 AWG stranded <br /> 12 copper wire, surrounded by an outer jacket of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Each <br /> 13 pair shall also contain a stranded copper drain wire and shall be individually ' <br /> 14 shielded with an aluminum polyester foil shield. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 CNH 3-20,2(9-29,3(2))DETECTOR LOOP WIRE,RTF <br /> 18 Detector Loop Wire <br /> 19 Section 9-29.3(2)F is revised to read as follows: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Detector loop wire shall use 14 AWG stranded copper conductors, and shall conform <br /> 22 to IMSA Specification 51-7, with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation <br /> 23 encased in a polyethylene outer jacket (PE tube). <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 CNN 8-20.2(9-29,6)LIGHT STANDARDS,RTF <br /> 27 9-29.6 Light And Signal Standards <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Section 9-29.6 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 30 (******) <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Light standards or signal standards may be painted or finished as identified in the plans <br /> 33 and specifications. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 All lighting standards furnished and installed under this contract shall be aluminum, <br /> 36 galvanized steel, or concrete as specified on the plans. Unless otherwise noted on the <br /> 37 plans, aluminum and steel standards shall have large radius davit luminaire arms. <br /> 38 Mounting heights for light fixtures shall be 35' unless otherwise indicated on the plans. <br /> 39 The base shall have 4 anchor bolts with a nominal 11-12" bolt circle or per the pole <br /> 40 fabricator's standards for the particular pole. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 All poles and arms shall be designed with a minimum weight of 50 pounds for the <br /> 43 luminaire and to withstand pressures caused by wind loads of 90 miles per hour with a <br /> 44 gust factor of 1.3. , <br /> 45 <br /> 46 All poles to be furnished shall maintain a minimum safety factor on yield strength and <br /> 47 basic wind pressure per the AASHTO recommendations for the particular pole material.
