I <br /> I1 All structural frame connections shall be concealed. Connections shall be with <br /> 2 extruded aluminum channels 1.25" by 2.25"with 1.25" high legs with tapered edges. <br /> 3 Thickness of legs shall be a minimum of 0.125" and base shall be 3/16". Each main <br /> I4 structural connection shall be connected with a minimum of three 3/16" stainless <br /> 5 steel pop rivets. All structural frame connections shall be concealed. <br /> 6 <br /> I <br /> 7 All mullions shall be made of extruded aluminum seamless tube 1'/2" x 21/2" x 1/8" <br /> 8 thick. Alloy aluminum shall be 6063-T5. Connections to structural frame shall be <br /> 9 with extruded aluminum channels 11/4" x 21/4"with 11/4" high legs at a minimum of 1/8" <br /> I <br /> 10 thick. Each connection shall have a minimum of two 3/16" stainless steel pop rivets. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Anchor bases shall be supplied for each vertical column. Bases shall be one piece <br /> I 13 cast aluminum with a minimum thickness of 1/4". Bases shall be designed with a <br /> 14 leveling capability of up to 3". Base flanges shall have pre-punched holes to accept <br /> 15 the 5/8" x 3" concrete anchors to be supplied with shelter. Shelter base connections <br /> I 16 shall be adjustable to varying mounting conditions. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 All anchors, fasteners and hardware types, sizes and installation method shall met <br /> 19 manufactures' recommendations. <br /> I20 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 8-30.3(3) Glazing <br /> I <br /> 23 <br /> 24 All window glazing shall be factory installed in window frames. Completed window <br /> 25 in frame shall be factory installed in structural frames and mullions. All aluminum <br /> I <br /> 26 frames shall have mitered corners and connected internally with #8 x 1" flat head <br /> 27 stainless steel sheet metal screws. <br /> 28 <br /> I <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Upper and Lower opening glass panels size shall be 24.375" x 49.5" and 24.375" x <br /> 24.375" respectively. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Window frames shall be fastened to structural frame, and be bronze anodized. Edge <br /> 33 engagement for glazing shall be a minimum of 3/4". The perimeter of each glazed lite <br /> 34 will be encased with a continuous strip of PVC dry set "U" spline before insertion into <br /> I 35 glazing frame. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 All glazing shall be 1/4" clear tempered safety glass. Maximum glazing panel width <br /> 38 shall be 36". All panels in shelter shall be the same size, if dimensions permit. <br /> I39 <br /> 40 8-30.3(4) Fascia <br /> 41 <br /> 42 The fascia/gutter shall be a one-piece extruded aluminum member a minimum of 6" <br /> 43 in height with a built in gutter that shall have an area of not less than 4 square inches. <br /> 44 The alloy of aluminum shall be 6063-T6. Connections at corners shall be with <br /> I 45 internal corner angles, fastened with 3/16" aluminum pop rivets. There will be no <br /> 46 exposed fasteners on exterior face of fascia. Open spans of fascia/gutter will be <br /> 47 capable of supporting 500 pounds at mid-span without permanent deformity. Drain <br /> I 48 holes shall be located to prevent water from running through shelter. <br /> 49 <br /> I <br /> N.
