1 <br /> 1 8-30.3(5) Acrylic Dome I <br /> 2 <br /> 3 The shelter roof shall be constructed of a molded acrylic dome with a minimum <br /> 4 thickness of 3/16". The roof shall be capable of supporting 40 pounds per square <br /> 5 foot. The dome shall be solar control white (with option for red) in color. The roof <br /> 6 dome shall be gasketed and sealed to be completely water tight. Dome shall be <br /> 7 removable without removing fascia/gutter. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 8-30.3(6) Concrete Pad <br /> 10 <br /> 11 A 3000 psi cement concrete pad, with a minimum 6"thickness, shall be installed prior <br /> 12 to placement of the shelter. The pad shall be to the dimensions shown on Standard <br /> 13 Plan No. 904 and have Welded Wire Fabric for reinforcement (WWF 6x6, W4xW4). <br /> 14 <br /> 15 8-30.3(7)Surface Mount Metal Bench <br /> 16 <br /> 17 BENCH FRAME: <br /> 18 A 4-foot wide surface mount metal bench, without back, main supports are <br /> 19 constructed of 2 3/8" od x 12 gage galvanized structural steel tubing. Mounting <br /> 20 brackets, on legs are 1 /4" x 2" steel flat bar. Braces are 1" od x 15 gage galvanized <br /> 21 structural steel tubing. The surface mount plate is 1 /4"x 6"steel plate. The mounting <br /> 22 plate covers are 2 piece cast aluminum. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 S EAT: <br /> 25 Expanded metal seat uses fabricated 3/4" #9 expanded steel mesh. Rib is 10 9age <br /> 26 and the perforated is 12 gage sheet metal.All types of fabricated metals are machine <br /> 27 rolled, forming the seat s rolled sides. The seat's frame and mounting brackets are <br /> 28 10 gage sheet metal. The edges of the seat's rolled sides, use a 1 /2" diameter steel <br /> 29 rod, to add support on expanded metal seats. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 SURFACE MOUNT BENCH LEGS <br /> 32 Two surface mount bench legs for each bench. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Hardware used shall be stainless steel and vandal proof, as provided or <br /> 35 recommended by manufacturer. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 8-30.3(8)Solar Luminaires (LED) <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Unless otherwise noted, solar luminaires in the project will be furnished and installed by the <br /> 40 Contractor for each shelter. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Solar Luminaires shall be an integral unit with the specified optical performance, and <br /> 43 mechanical features that facilitate installation and maintenance. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Solar Lighting shall be a low profile fixture integrated by the shelter manufacturer into their <br /> 46 shelter roof design. Fixtures shall be rated for 50,000 hours of life with an integrated solar <br /> 47 package, including solar panel, integrated solar lighting module in and outdoor rated powder <br /> 48 coated aluminum housing, photovoltaic batteries, photovoltaic controller, light fixture, and all <br /> 49 associated mounting hardware.
