I <br /> 1 The calculation for cement concrete compliance adjustment is the volume of concrete <br /> 2 represented by the CPF and the Thickness deficiency adjustment. <br /> I 3 <br /> 4 5-05.5 Payment <br /> 5 The bid item "Portland Cement Concrete Compliance Adjustment", by calculation, and the <br /> 6 paragraph following this bid item are revised to read: <br /> I7 <br /> 8 "Cement Concrete Compliance Adjustment", by calculation. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Payment for "Cement Concrete Compliance Adjustment" will be calculated by multiplying <br /> 11 the unit Contract price for the cement concrete pavement, times the volume for <br /> 12 adjustment, times the percent of adjustment determined from the calculated CPF and the <br /> I 13 Deficiency Adjustment listed in Section 5-05.5(1)A. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 6-01.AP6 <br /> I 16 Section 6-01, General Requirements for Structures <br /> 17 August 6, 2018 <br /> I 18 This section is supplemented with the following new subsections: <br /> 19 <br /> 20 6-01.16 Repair of Defective Work <br /> I 21 6-01.16(1) General <br /> 22 When using repair procedures that are described elsewhere in the Contract <br /> 23 Documents, the Working Drawing submittal requirements of this Section shall not <br /> 24 apply to those repairs unless noted otherwise. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Repair procedures for defective Work shall be submitted as Type 2 Working <br /> 27 Drawings. Type 2E Working Drawings shall be submitted when required by the <br /> 28 Engineer. As an alternative to submitting Type 2 or 2E Working Drawings, defective <br /> 29 Work within the limits of applicability of a pre-approved repair procedure may be <br /> 30 repaired using that procedure. Repairs using a pre-approved repair procedure shall <br /> I 31 be submitted as a Type 1 Working Drawing. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Pre-approved repair procedures shall consist of the following: <br /> I <br /> 34 <br /> 35 • The procedures listed in Section 6-01.16(2) <br /> 36 <br /> I 37 • For precast concrete, repair procedures in the annual plant approval <br /> 38 process documents that have been approved for use by the Contracting <br /> 39 Agency. <br /> 40 <br /> I41 All Working Drawings for repair procedures shall include: <br /> 42 <br /> 43 • A description of the defective Work including location, extent and pictures <br /> I 44 <br /> 45 • Materials to be used in the repair. Repairs using manufactured products <br /> 46 shall include written manufacturer recommendations for intended uses of <br /> I <br /> 47 the product, surface preparation, mixing, aggregate extension (if <br /> 48 applicable), ambient and surface temperature limits, placement methods, <br /> 49 finishing and curing. <br /> I <br />
