The <br /> GenFral Plan states, "Because Everett wants to develop and promote an <br /> attractive image, all entry corridors into th^. City should be designated as <br /> "Gateways" and standards should be applied to developments along such ( <br /> "Gateways" relating to building design, landscaping, sign�ae, outdoor storage <br /> and other aesthetic considerations that will serve to upgra�e Everatt's image." <br /> To meet the intent of the policy, the following requirements must be met: <br /> a. 10' Type II landscaping along the property's frontage on Califomia. (SEPA <br /> Land and Shoreline Use Policies.) <br /> b. Street trees may be required along Califomia, Maple and Walnut, within <br /> excess right-of-way areas with species approved by the Parks <br /> Department. Street trees must be planted at 20 feet on center. (SEPA <br /> Land and Shoreline Use Policies.) <br /> The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable <br /> significant adverse impact on the environment. An Environmental Impact Statement is <br /> not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This detertnination assumes compliance <br /> with State law and City ordinances reiated to general environmental protection including <br /> but not limited to right-of-way improvement requirements, drainage, etc. This decision <br /> was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on <br /> file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.
