17. The number and location of fire hydrants will be determined at a <br /> later date and must be approved by the Fire Marshal <br /> 18. A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of 2A must <br /> be provided within 75 feet travel distance, on each floor, of <br /> all portions of each building during construction. <br /> 19. The building must be sprinklered in accordance with NFPA 13 <br /> and/or UBC Standard 38-1 with a Fire Department connection. <br /> 20. Standpipes must be installed as required in Section 3805 of the <br /> i Uniform Huilding Code. <br /> 21. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Municipal <br /> Code 46.44. Red painted curbs with white stencilinq of the words <br /> "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE�� . and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING <br /> - FIRE LANE - VIOLATORS MAY BE TOWED" to be located as approved <br /> by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 22. The premises must be clearly identified by address at the street <br /> entry. <br /> 23 . The buildinq must be clearly identified so as to be visible and <br /> legible from the access road. <br /> 24. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning; therefore, <br /> outdoor burning for the purpose of disposing of construction <br /> debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br /> 25. The Fire Department may recommend or require installation of a <br /> rapid-entry system, such as a key box, <br /> 26. Construction activities must be in compliance with Uniform Fire <br /> Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During <br /> construction. �� <br /> 27. The 1.pplicant must provide a "Hazardous Materials Inventory <br /> Statement, " as defined in Section II of the attached hazardous <br /> materials management plan. This statement shall be submitted to <br /> the Building official as part of the submittal for building <br /> permit. <br /> 28. The Police Department has the followinq security 'I <br /> recommendations: <br /> a. Lighting of the parking facility should be a minimum of 1-2 I <br /> foot candles. � <br /> b. During the final stages of construction, please contact Dick <br /> , Thornberry, Crime Prevention Officer at 259-0416 for further <br /> security recommendations. <br /> 6 <br /> ; <br />
