Bidder acknowledges that he/she has not relied on representation or warranty of the City not expressly <br /> included in the Contract Documents. <br /> E. The information provided by the City is not intended to be a substitute for, or a supplement to, the <br /> I independent verification by the Bidder to the extent such independent investigation of the Drawings and <br /> Specifications or Site conditions is deemed necessary or desirable by the Bidder. <br /> F. Bidder acknowledges that they have not relied upon City or Engineer furnished information regarding site <br /> conditions in preparing and submitting a Bid. <br /> G. Do not qualify Bids,since this will automatically be cause for rejection of the Bid. <br /> I1.15 BID SECURITY <br /> A. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid security as follows: <br /> I 1. Bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents of a sum no less than five percent of <br /> Bid Price. <br /> a. The surety shall: (1)be registered with the Washington State Insurance Commissioner, and <br /> I (2) appear on the current Authorized Insurance List in the State of Washington published <br /> by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. <br /> 2. Certified or Cashier's check in the amount of a sum no less than five percent of Bid Price. <br /> IB. Endorse Bid bond on the form provided in the Contract Documents in name of Owner, City of Everett, as <br /> obligee,fully executed by principal(Contractor)and surety. <br /> C. • <br /> Bid securities will be returned after delivery to Owner of required 100%performance and 100%payment <br /> bonds by accepted Bidder. <br /> l D. If accepted Bidder fails to execute the Agreement and indicated bonds and insurance within 14 calendar <br /> days after Notice of Award,Notice of Award may be annulled and Bidder's Bid security will be forfeited <br /> as liquidated damages. <br /> IE. Include cost of Bid security in Bid Sum. <br /> F. After Bid has been accepted, Bid security will be returned to respective Bidders. <br /> G.
