I <br /> 1 The geogrid may be temporarily secured in place with ties, staples, pins, sand bags or backfill <br /> 2 as required by fill properties, fill placement procedures or weather conditions or as directed <br /> ' 3 by the Engineer. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 2-13.3(5) Granular Fill Placement over Geogrid <br /> 6 Granular fill material shall be placed in lifts and compacted as directed under Section 2-09. <br /> I 7 Granular fill material shall be placed, spread, and compacted in such a manner that <br /> 8 minimizes the development of wrinkles in the geogrid and/or movement of the geogrid. <br /> I9 <br /> 10 A minimum loose fill thickness of 6 inches is required prior to operation of tracked vehicles <br /> 11 over the geogrid.
