Plan <br /> review will commence when two sets of drawings are submitted to resolve the foilowing issues. Please <br /> provide a response letter, which shows where each item in this correction letter is addressed on the <br /> plan set. <br /> General <br /> �tq 1. Please provide a code analysis indicating required separations and hourly ratings of walls, <br /> � -� ceilings and doo�s, per IFC section 4603.3.2 and IBC section 708.2, exception 7.1 and 7.2. <br /> ti'�� a. In addition, the required number of exits from each floor, inciuding exit termination, <br /> ��'N ��°`y should be shown on schematic floor plans, per IBC table 1021.2 and section 1022.2. <br /> � b. "fhe occupant load of the building should be shown per floor, per IBC section 1027.1. <br /> = 2. Based on our pian review process, it would be helpful if code required construction and <br /> accessibility modifications are shown on both the civil and architectural drawings. Please <br /> indicate all accessibiliry code requirements for building permit in their entirety on the <br /> architectural drawings. <br /> a. The civil and architectural sets are reviewed separetely by khe Ciry of Everett. Please <br /> coordinate comments for similar elements between: <br /> i. The pian review of civil drawings; and, <br /> ii. The plan review of architectural and landscape drawings. <br /> � 3. Civil drawings may need to be revised and updated in response to Public Works plan review <br /> comments, prior to issuance as a Public Works permit. For consistency, the reference civil <br /> dra�vings have been removed from the architectural set submitted for building permit. <br /> Egress <br /> ,�� 1. Please indicate the reyuired exit enclosure for the three story interior exit stairway, per IBC <br /> section 1022.1 and IFC section 4603.3.2. <br /> ��;� 2. An exit passageway is required at the terminati�n of the exit stairway, per IBC sections 1022.2 <br /> and 1023. <br /> ��; 3. A section showing tested Floor-ceiling assemblies (reference note plan 1 sheet A2) should be <br /> shown on the drawings, per IBC section 707.5. <br /> ;;�` 4. The extent of the rated Floor-ceiling assembly in the basement shouid be shown on a reflected <br /> ceiling plan of the basement.
